Residential Trash Collection in Lancaster County, PA
What you need to know:
Early morning service
Please place all trash and recycling out the night before collection. Our work day begins earlier than most services. We do this to help alleviate traffic congestion during rush hours, for the safety of pedestrians, especially during school months, and to accommodate for any potential weather delays or interruptions. We appreciate your understanding.
Clear & easy access
Place trash and recycling where our staff can easily see and access it. Please do not place collection items behind poles, trees, shrubs, bushes, cars, etc. Also, be sure to keep items away from your trash that you do not want to have disposed. Our staff tries to work quickly and efficiently to minimize any disruptions to the neighborhoods we service, so we appreciate your cooperation.
Tie up extra trash
Use garbage cans or trash bags for extra disposables beyond your normal household trash. Please be aware that there may be an extra charge for items other than your normal household trash. This would be determined by the driver on your route. However, if you have questions about whether something would be an extra charge, please do not hesitate to call our office at 717-355-2229.
Bulk items
Call to schedule pickup and payment for large or bulky items. Items accepted: appliances (freon-free only), box springs & mattresses, carpeting, furniture, grills, lawn mowers, televisions, wood, or any bulk items other than regular household trash.
